Musings of a young-ish theologian.

My name is Trey Caines, a 20-something young man from Eastern Kentucky now serving in ministry in Eastern Tennessee. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful wife and father to a fussy baby who brings me much joy as well. I have a Masters in Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and I have done course work at Reformed Theological Seminary as well. 

Throughout my journey, I have gained a variety of experiences, from serving in the Army to working in spaces where I’ve had to engage with ideas and worldviews vastly different from my own. These experiences have shaped my perspective and deepened my understanding of faith and ministry.

This blog serves as a space where I share my thoughts and reflections on a wide range of topics. While my writings may not always reflect fully matured ideas, they are shaped by my current stage of life, personal experiences, and ongoing journey of growth.
